Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology

This Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology is designed to update physicians on the latest advances in Neoplastic Hematopathology. It will be conducted under the direction of Daniel M. Knowles, MD at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, Naples, Florida from January 19-23, 2015. The program will consist of lectures, case presentations and discussions designed to provide pathologists, pathologists intraining and medical oncologists/hematologists with an in-depth discussion of diagnostic problems that arise in neoplastic hematopathology. In addition to discussions of recent advances in the morphologic classification of hematopoietic tumors, the application and interpretation of immunological and cytochemical studies and molecular techniques in the diagnosis and classification of these diseases will be presented. The Tutorial faculty will prepare an extensive Notebook comprised of lecture notes and reference citations covering all of the topics presented at the Tutorial. The Tutorial notebook, USB flash drive and canvas carry bag will be distributed to participants at the Tutorial during the registration period.

Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology

The Tutorial consists of five days of lectures, case presentations and discussions. It will be held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, 475 Seagate Drive, Naples, FL 34103, United States Phone: (239) 227-2182; http://www.naplesgrande.com/

Tuition

The registration fee is $1,350, which includes the Tutorial, a USB flash drive, daily continental breakfasts, coffee breaks and a reception. The fee does not include travel, housing or other meals. Registration post-marked after December 30, 2014 is $1,450.

Registration can be completed on-line, at the main page of the Tutorial web site: www.cornellpathology.org We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. When paying by check, it must be in U.S. currency and drawn on a U.S. Bank, made payable to the WCMC/Pathology Dept. International participants can contact us directly for our wire transfer information. When registering, please be sure to use a complete mailing address.

Confirmation/ Seating

A written confirmation will be sent to all registrants. Early registration is recommended. Seating at the program is on a first come first serve basis and will be assigned based on registration date. The seat assigned remains yours throughout the course.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, the Tutorial fee is refundable less a $125 service charge. A front and back copy of your cancelled check must be submitted for a refund. After January 5, 2015, no refunds will be possible and no exceptions of any kind can be honored.

Continuing Medical Education

Weill Cornell Medical College is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

Weill Cornell Medical College designates this educational activity for a maximum of 36.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification

The American Board of Pathology has approved the Tutorial as a Self-Assessment Module (SAM) for Part II of the ABP Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20 SAM Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Transportation

Southwest Florida International Airport is 25 miles and approximately 30 minutes from the Hotel.

Rental cars can be arranged at the airport, as well as the Hotel through the Concierge. Limousine service, valet and self - parking are also available through the hotel.

Other

A continental-style breakfast will be available from 7 a.m. in the foyer outside the Grand Ballroom where the Tutorial sessions will be held. The use of cell phones or video/audio recording during the lectures is prohibited.

Accommodations have been reserved for Tutorial participants at Naples Grande Beach Resort, Naples, Florida. Note that a one-night deposit is required.
